CAPABILITIES

A Customized Conversion Process is implemented for each participating agency at the onset. This process integrates CAD and RMS data and allows for the routine exchange of agency data.

Exchange Files are transferred or “exchanged” among and between each participating agency on a routine basis, and at least once daily. This software function identifies the data sets to be shared, and ushers the transference back and forth between cooperating agencies so that their collaborative work can occur seamlessly.

Code Tables reconcile data and coding, eliminating confusion due to differing agency code classifications or distinctive policing districts. Code Tables display how the participating agencies’ crime codes were cross-referenced.

Query Tools allow a query of the “Exchange File” and give the user the option to select “all” or “some” of the participating agencies, depending on the immediate need.

Mapping Tools offer the high level of functionality, detail and accuracy offered in all CPS Solutions products. Most mapping functions are accessed within three simple mouse clicks and display neighboring jurisdictions side-by-side. This perspective gives visual cues not normally apparent when limited by the data of one agency. Bar graphs show activity relative to “calls for service” and “RMS” reports including a range of call types and time data. Crime activity, trends and patterns can be analyzed per frequency, time and place.
